Angel's Billabong

Angel's Billabong is one of Nusa Penida's most mesmerizing natural wonders, featuring a crystal-clear natural rock pool that appears to merge seamlessly with the ocean horizon. This geological marvel was formed over thousands of years by ocean waves carving into the limestone coastline, creating a series of natural pools and channels.

The main attraction is the large tidal pool that creates a perfect "infinity pool" effect, where the clear emerald water seems to flow directly into the ocean beyond. The limestone formations surrounding the pool are sculpted into smooth, organic shapes that provide perfect spots for photography and contemplation.

During low tide, the pools are calm and swimmable, offering a unique experience of bathing in a natural infinity pool with panoramic ocean views. However, visitors must be extremely cautious of the tides and waves, as the area can become dangerous during high tide or rough seas.
