Broken Beach (Pasih Uug) is one of Nusa Penida's most remarkable geological formations, where centuries of ocean erosion have carved a perfect circular archway through limestone cliffs. This natural wonder creates a stunning lagoon enclosed by towering cliffs, with turquoise water flowing through the dramatic rock bridge.
The viewpoint offers spectacular panoramic views of the arch and the enclosed bay below. While you cannot swim in the lagoon due to strong currents and no beach access, the site provides incredible photo opportunities and a chance to witness the raw power of nature's sculpting abilities.
Broken Beach is typically visited together with nearby Angel's Billabong, as they're only a 5-minute walk apart. The combination of these two natural wonders makes for one of the most scenic stops on any Nusa Penida tour.
